Senior Technical Lead (Full Stack)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team. You will take ownership of designing, developing, and scaling full-stack web applications using React.js and Node.js, while also contributing to backend systems built with Java.

You will play a key role in architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Architect and implement robust backend services and APIs using Node.js or Java-based systems.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize database interactions and design efficient SQL or NoSQL data models.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
• Drive adoption of modern development practices, including CI/CD, testing, and DevOps.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong expertise in React.js for scalable and responsive UI applications.
• Solid experience with Node.js and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with Java enterprise frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL database design and management.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and system integration.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with performance optimization and monitoring tools.
• Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other event-driven technologies.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and OWASP security practices.
• Experience with Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
