Your Profile
We are looking for a Senior IT Program Manager with a strong SAP background to take ownership of a strategically important and complex account in the utilities sector in Belgium. This broad, end-to-end program management role covers delivery management, financial oversight, stakeholder governance, people management, and contract management within a multi-vendor, multi-country SAP environment.
You will serve as the primary point of contact and accountability for program performance, acting as a senior liaison between Capgemini, the client, and a broader subcontractor ecosystem. You will manage a dedicated Program Management team, oversee monthly invoicing volumes in the range of several hundred thousand euros, and participate in presales and business development activities.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end SAP program delivery for a major strategic utilities account, ensuring deliverables, quality standards, budget targets, and milestones are achieved.
- Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and performance across a complex multi-vendor delivery landscape spanning Belgium and international Capgemini locations.
- Lead program governance and stakeholder management at operational, executive, and strategic levels.
- Act as the primary escalation point and trusted senior advisor for the client and Capgemini leadership.
- Manage governance across Capgemini, the client organization, and subcontractors.
- Oversee financial management, including monthly analysis, invoice preparation, KPI tracking, e-monitoring, and rolling forecasts.
- Lead resource management from requisition and onboarding through offboarding across multiple countries.
- Manage subcontractor contracts, statements of work, procurement activities, security, data protection, and AI governance requirements.
- Contribute to presales, business development, customer meetings, testimonials, roadmap workshops, R&D planning, and staffing forecasts.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Program Management team through regular one-to-one and team alignment sessions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT project and program management.
- Proven experience delivering large, complex SAP programs in multi-stakeholder, multi-vendor environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP application landscapes, including SAP Solution Manager and SAP Change and Release Management processes.
- Strong financial management skills, including invoicing, budget tracking, reconciliation, and KPI reporting.
- Executive-level stakeholder management and proven escalation management experience.
- Strong people management and coaching capabilities.
- Fluency in Dutch is essential; French and/or English is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with resource management, time tracking, vendor management, and financial tools.
