Senior SAP Application Security Engineer

As our Senior SAP Application Security Engineer in NIKE ITC, you will lead the execution of a compelling and competitive application security strategy and drive engineering best practices. This critical role will enable tools and processes for technology that transforms NIKE’s application security solutions.

What You Will Work On

• Create, adopt, and execute a strategic plan to align SAP Security with industry best practices and SOX compliance.
• Manage the master service partner team to successfully execute large initiatives and ongoing support projects, and help implement and operate security controls.
• Build strong relationships with third-party providers to deliver the tools and skills needed to fulfill the application security strategy.
• Coordinate and lead system redesign and upgrade or patching activities for the application security team.
• Develop and operate application security services relevant to applications.

You will work closely with the master service partner and leaders throughout NIKE’s technical and business community to ensure NIKE Technology embraces industry-leading innovations, trends, and transformations and supports business strategies and priorities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SAP Security projects, including at least two full-cycle implementations.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and configuring SAP GRC Access Control 10.x/12.0, designing segregation-of-duties risks, and remediating identified violations.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting IT controls in SAP GRC reporting and user access environments.
• Experience with ITGC audit and compliance cycles and requirements.
• Strong understanding of large-scale information technology systems and experience delivering enterprise-quality application security solutions.
• Experience with application logging and security reporting, application vulnerability testing, and code reviews.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a record of collaboration and influence across diverse business and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing SAP GRC Process Controls.
• CISSP certification.
• SAP Security certification.
