Your Role
As a Senior Python Developer with Capgemini, you will design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable software solutions. You will use extensive Python experience to deliver high-quality applications, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Python applications and services.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and backend components.
- Create and maintain automated unit, integration, and performance tests.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote performance, security, scalability, and maintainability best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, including architecture, API, deployment, and operational guides.
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, project managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
Your Profile
- Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience and at least 5 years of professional Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed applications, asynchronous programming, and scalable design.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design principles, design patterns, clean coding, relational databases, and ORM frameworks.
- Experience with automated testing, Git, CI/CD, DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Cloud platform experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is an asset.
- Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architectures is an advantage.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Agile and international, multicultural environments.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
