Key Responsibilities
- Project Ownership: Lead technology teams on business deliverables and ensure project time and quality are not compromised. Contribute to business growth through more projects and FTEs, and align with broader business strategies.
- Change Management: Lead and manage strategic or functional organizational changes, ensuring team alignment and acceptance while catalyzing team performance during transformation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead intra- and cross-departmental initiatives, expand team knowledge, and foster a culture of co-creation.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Meet stakeholder expectations through regular connections with global and local stakeholders, sharing business updates and building trusted-advisor relationships.
- People Management: Acquire, coach, and develop talent; identify strengths; conduct career conversations; manage conflicts; and build an inclusive, empathetic, appreciative, and psychologically safe culture.
- Financial Stewardship: Follow financial regulations and support cost-effective measures through effective budget and manpower planning.
- Compliance and Governance: Maintain awareness of statutory compliance and internal policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field. The role requires 15–18 years of experience.
Candidates should have experience in IT project and program management, including managing large portfolios of projects or topics. A development background in Java or .NET, experience with Agile development teams, and exposure to Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies are required. Knowledge of the automotive domain, Digital Twin, and Vehicle Validation is advantageous. Experience in innovation, stakeholder and customer management, business acquisition and solutioning, and metrics- or KPI-driven project steering is expected. German language skills are an advantage.
