Job Description

The NFV Routing Service Provisioning Modernization project focuses on transforming the delivery and lifecycle management of Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) routing services by replacing a legacy, fragmented provisioning process with a centralized, automated, and scalable network automation framework.

The role is responsible for designing and developing network service orchestration solutions using Cisco NSO, enabling automated configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of multi-vendor telecom network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network service orchestration solutions using Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO).
• Design and implement NSO service packages, service models, and templates.
• Configure and manage NSO Device Managers and Network Element Drivers (NEDs).
• Build and maintain YANG data models for network service automation.
• Manage NSO package lifecycle, including deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Automate provisioning and configuration workflows across multi-vendor network environments.
• Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable automation solutions.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO).
• Strong understanding of NSO architecture, including service packages, device managers, NEDs, service models, and templates.
• Experience developing and maintaining NSO service orchestration solutions.
• Knowledge of NSO package lifecycle management and deployment processes.
• Proficiency in YANG data modeling.
• Experience working with network device configurations from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia.
• Understanding of network automation and service provisioning best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telecom network environments and service orchestration projects.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java is a big plus.
• Familiarity with network management and automation frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
