Senior Java Engineer with GCP

Technical skills

• 10+ years of experience developing highly scalable and efficient applications using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, or equivalent.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or equivalent experience with AWS or Azure.
• Application containerization using Docker and Kubernetes on GCP (GKE) or Azure (AKS).
• Pub/Sub event handling using GCP Pub/Sub and Kafka.
• Composable architectures using domain modeling, services, microservices, service mesh, Istio, and circuit-breaker patterns.
• Micro frontend frameworks using Webpack 5 with module federation.
• SQL and NoSQL database technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
• CI/CD automation and quality gates using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Postman, RestAssured, Gatling, JMeter, SonarQube, ESLint, and Selenium.
• Observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Documentation as code using tools such as Backstage.io and GitHub integrations.
• Agile methods, coding standards, and source control techniques.
• Strong communication, teamwork, documentation, and test-script skills.

• Identify and resolve potential issues and escalate appropriately.
• Influence technical project outcomes and lead technical issue resolution within your domain.
