Senior Java Developer

Your Role

As a Senior Java Developer, you will design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise-grade software solutions. You will deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications, mentor team members, and contribute to architectural and technical decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance software components and applications based on business requirements, functional specifications, and architectural standards.
• Develop robust and scalable solutions using Java and related frameworks.
• Participate in solution design and technical architecture discussions.
• Build, integrate, and optimize technological and interoperability components.
• Create, review, and maintain unit, integration, and automated test suites.
• Conduct code reviews and promote coding, security, performance, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API specifications, and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Your Profile

• Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with application integration technologies, messaging systems, distributed systems, relational databases, CI/CD tools, source code management, and automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps methodologies is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in international and multicultural environments using Agile delivery methodologies.
• Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, and contributing to architectural decisions is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.
