Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (PHP, Symfony) with French to join Sopra Steria Polska and work with one of our French clients. This opportunity is available to people located in Poland who are willing to commute to the office in Katowice.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance applications and services using PHP, Symfony and MariaDB.
- Design, implement and support APIs and system integrations.
- Build and optimize backend and frontend components.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and execute unit and end-to-end tests.
- Support application containerization and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues.
- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development, automation and software delivery.
Qualifications
Must have:
- Senior-level experience in application development and automation.
- Hands-on experience with PHP, Symfony and MariaDB.
- Experience with APIs, system integrations, backend and frontend development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing, end-to-end testing and containerization.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication and documentation skills.
- Very good French and English, minimum B2.
- Openness to occasional international business trips and regular visits to the Katowice office.
Nice to have: Symfony Certification and DevOps Foundation Certification.
