As a Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst, you will help shape and maintain the organisation’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. You will ensure strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and emerging risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and reported in line with risk appetite and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Assist in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting enterprise and operational risks.
- Maintain risk registers, action plans, risk documentation, and governance records.
- Produce risk reports, management information, and analysis for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Support risk workshops, risk assessments, and control reviews across the business.
- Coordinate risk governance activities, including meeting preparation, minutes, action tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor emerging risks and support risk mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to risk policies, standards, methodologies, and procedures.
- Support departmental assurance activities and collaborate with Compliance, Security, Audit, and Operational teams.
- Promote a positive risk culture by providing guidance and support to stakeholders.
- Support the operation and maintenance of the risk system underpinning the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Understanding of Enterprise or Operational Risk Management Frameworks.
- Experience gathering and collating large amounts of data and preparing reports.
- Knowledge of good governance principles and committee administration.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organisation, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, Technology, or another regulated sector.
- Experience in Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, or operations within a regulated financial services firm.
- Understanding of financial services regulations.
- Experience managing or overseeing components of an Enterprise or Operational Risk Management Framework.
- Knowledge of risk systems supporting Enterprise or Operational Risk Management Frameworks.
- Professional qualifications or progress toward certifications in Risk Management, Compliance, or Audit.
The role requires Security Clearance or the ability to obtain SC clearance within short timescales.
