Purpose
- Drive Sourcing’s vision to build the most agile, competitive, digitalized, and cleanest supply base in the industry.
- Build a strong production planning function for the region through best-practice processes and planning harmonization.
- Lead capacity and fill-rate management across multiple countries of origin to maximize finished-goods availability and on-time order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, and direct a medium- to large-sized team of manufacturing leads.
- Define planning-related process standards for operating companies in the region in line with global guidance.
- Support and implement strategic projects aligned with company strategy.
- Serve as a key contact for supply-chain initiatives including Speed Models, GPS, and TradeCard/GT Nexus systems.
- Drive process harmonization and best-practice implementation across the region and other local organizations.
- Manage supplier strategy, seasonal development and production allocation, and capacity and capability planning.
- Ensure forecasts and orders follow standard system processes and reach Tier 1 suppliers on time.
- Manage order confirmations, delivery status, delay information, purchase orders, and product transfers.
- Identify availability risks and improvement opportunities, create corrective action plans, and improve key performance metrics.
- Improve communication between Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and between Tier 1 suppliers and third-party logistics providers.
- Provide consolidated performance overviews and address regional and factory performance issues.
- Develop initiatives to level-load production and create manufacturing efficiencies.
- Manage factory start-up onboarding, documentation, and terminations.
- Provide training to operations teams and suppliers on planning, ordering, tracking, documentation, and invoicing systems.
- Develop organizational structures and future talent through coaching, training, and development.
- Ensure sourcing operations comply with adidas policies, standards, and legal requirements.

Global Sourcing, headquarters laboratories, POPs Strategy & Programs, Social and Environmental Affairs, Government Affairs, and sourcing suppliers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven success in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of the sporting goods industry.
- Strong conceptual thinking, influencing, presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to lead multidimensional teams.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Education and Experience
- University degree in engineering, materials, or a related area.
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of people-management experience.
