Your Project
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dedicated Infrastructure team responsible for designing, maintaining, and evolving the organization's cloud infrastructure platform. The team manages Kubernetes clusters, Bastion VMs, Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions powered by GitHub Actions. A key focus is supporting migration to the Azure Landing Zone architecture while ensuring platform stability and collaboration with feature development teams.
Your Role
- Maintain and support the current cloud infrastructure platform.
- Drive and contribute to migration of existing infrastructure to Azure Landing Zone.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based environments and supporting infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with feature teams during infrastructure maintenance and migration activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and platform-related issues.
- Contribute to infrastructure reliability, automation, security, and operational excellence.
Technical Environment
Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Linux, Bastion VMs, Virtual Machine Scale Sets, Azure Landing Zone, Helm, Linkerd, Ambassador, and OpenTelemetry.
Development Practices
- Infrastructure managed as Code (IaC).
- CI/CD pipelines built with GitHub Actions.
- Branching strategy follows a pure Git Flow model.
- Strong focus on automation, platform engineering, and infrastructure modernization.
Your Profile
Must-have skills: Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Linux administration and troubleshooting.
Nice-to-have skills: Understanding of Azure Landing Zone architecture and best practices; Bash or Shell scripting; occasional PowerShell; Ambassador API Gateway; Linkerd service mesh; Helm; and OpenTelemetry.
