Your role
As a Senior Cloud / Integration Engineer, you will design, build, and support enterprise-scale event-driven integration platforms using Azure Integration Services. You will work in a cloud-native environment focused on automation, security, DevOps practices, and operational excellence.
You will collaborate with architects, developers, infrastructure, networking, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions across the enterprise.
Your tasks
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise event-driven integration platforms.
- Build integration solutions using Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Storage.
- Implement and support integration workloads running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Assess business requirements and recommend appropriate integration patterns, architectures, and Azure services.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitHub Actions.
- Support Kafka-based integrations, including Kafka Connect deployments and integrations.
- Ensure platform security, governance, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Implement monitoring, observability, scaling, and operational support processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
- Proven experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, Integration Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Integration Services, including Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Functions, Logic Apps, and Storage.
- Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and the Kubernetes ecosystem, including deployments, services, pods, ingress, container lifecycle management, security, monitoring, and scaling.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
- Experience with Azure CLI, cloud infrastructure automation, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Programming and scripting experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, Python, Bash, and Java in the Kafka Connect ecosystem.
- Good understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpoints, Private Link, DNS, hybrid connectivity, and hub-and-spoke architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, including Azure IAM/RBAC, managed identities, Azure Key Vault, Entra ID, Zero Trust, and secure-by-design principles.
- Strong communication skills, cross-functional collaboration abilities, Agile experience, ownership, and an operational excellence mindset.

- GitOps and ArgoCD.
- Kafka integration architecture and Kafka Connect implementations.
- Integration between AKS-hosted applications and Azure PaaS services.
- Docker and Docker Hub.
- Monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog.
- Azure platform governance and enterprise-scale cloud operations.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certifications.
- Experience designing highly scalable, event-driven enterprise architectures and understanding cloud-native design patterns and distributed systems.
