Mission

Provide expert legal counsel and strategic leadership on data protection, artificial intelligence, intellectual property and technology regulations across Atos companies. Report to the Group Data Protection Officer and Group Head of IP, AI & Tech Regulations, and oversee legal and compliance frameworks for AI, data protection and IP.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Legal Advisory

• Draft, review and negotiate complex agreements related to data processing, AI solutions and IP licensing.
• Support Group-wide strategies for AI governance, data protection and IP management.
• Monitor evolving legal and regulatory requirements and provide guidance to business units and leadership.
• Identify legal risks and contribute to structural, procedural and policy improvements.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Oversee data protection and privacy policies, including AI-related policies, across global operations.
• Review and advise on Data Protection Impact Assessments and global AI risk assessments.
• Coordinate with legal teams, Data Protection Officers and IP specialists.
• Support responses to data breaches, AI-related incidents and IP disputes.

Organizational Leadership

• Lead the Data Protection Legal Expert community.
• Support legal and compliance frameworks for AI, data protection and IP.
• Provide legal support during global audits and reviews.
• Lead legal initiatives related to AI, data protection and technology regulations.

Awareness, Training and Communication

• Develop and deliver training on AI, data protection and IP legal requirements.
• Organize and contribute to communications, events and awareness campaigns.
• Identify training needs and support the creation of training materials, including data protection training for all employees.

Reporting

• Report on legal and compliance status, key performance indicators, significant incidents and potential issues.
• Contribute to annual legal and compliance reports.

Profile

• Legal degree and admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
• At least 8 years of professional legal experience in data protection, AI and IP.
• Expertise in data protection law, including GDPR, AI regulatory frameworks and intellectual property law.
• Experience with complex, cross-border legal matters and international legal teams.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills; fluency in English is required.
• Business fluency in French, Spanish, German or Portuguese is advantageous.
• Data protection or AI ethics certification is desirable.
