Task Description
- Define and design the whole-vehicle security solution based on the latest Mercedes-Benz E/E architecture in close communication with the global Mercedes-Benz security solution team.
- Design and develop cybersecurity mechanisms using on-chip security hardware and software methods to harden systems.
- Design and implement mechanisms including TrustZone/TEE, TLS/PKI/certificate management, Secure Boot, and secure vehicle communication.
- Execute risk and cybersecurity assessments for the architecture, operating system, subsystems, and components of infotainment products.
- Communicate and cooperate with global and local security design teams to ensure requirements are clear and accurate.
- Design and develop security software according to the E/E architecture and requirements.
- Develop and execute module unit tests and integration tests, and verify and validate security software on benches and in vehicles.
- Interface with system and application engineers to develop and specify security software requirements.
- Follow software processes such as ASPICE and agile methods in design, development, and testing.
- Support related teams including vehicle testing, validation, and manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer science, automation, mechatronics, vehicle engineering, or information security engineering.
- Experience in security-related software or product development for embedded devices, SSL/PKI, and cryptographic algorithms.
- Familiarity with SoC, MCP, and MPU hardware security mechanisms such as TrustZone/TEE, HSM, Secure Boot, and Secure Storage.
- Experience with network protocols including IP, TCP/UDP, RTP, FTP, SSH, Telnet, and HTTP, and tools such as Wireshark and TCPDump.
- Good understanding of automotive electronics architecture.
- Fluent spoken English for communication with internal and global teams and customers.
- Teamwork, communication, planning, and self-motivation skills.
- Vehicle bus development experience with CAN, LIN, or Ethernet, and protocols such as UDS, DoIP, and SOME/IP, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Chinese and European cybersecurity regulations, including ISO 21434 and ECE R155, is preferred.
