The role
The role is part of the UKI Group Security Team and reports to the UKI CISO. You will implement information security policies throughout the UKI perimeter and coordinate assigned Business Line security operations across network, servers, desktop and applications.
Responsibilities
- Assess and report local security risks for Internal IT, Production IT and Business Line solutions and services.
- Contribute to Group security targets, monitor security KPIs and propose improvements.
- Qualify and report security events and incidents, ensuring root causes are understood and addressed.
- Contribute to risk remediation, incident handling and crisis management activities.
- Work with other security officers on implementing and maintaining the appropriate security level.
- Manage the ISO27001 Information Security Management System and support certification activities.
- Cascade ISMS policies, procedures and standards, ensuring appropriate implementation and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure findings have action plans delivered on time.
- Manage exception requests, mitigating controls and risk escalations.
- Develop security good-practice guides and awareness briefings.
- Respond to incidents and undertake security investigations, producing objective and factual reports.
- Provide security advice for new builds and site reconfigurations.
- Support customer bids, vulnerability assessments, security alerts and new corporate services or applications.
- Support security training programmes and Management Review activities.
- Identify improvements to Group Security and UKI ISMS policies, processes and templates.
Requirements
- Understanding of security tools and techniques.
- Experience conducting security reviews and determining security measures according to threat level and site usage.
- Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and senior managers.
- Fluent English communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel within the UKI region and potentially to other geographies.
- To be eligible for Security Check clearance, you must have lived and worked in the UK continuously for the past five years.
