Section Lead of Vehicle Steering – Driving People, Performance, and Operational Excellence

As a Section Lead, you are the driving force behind a high-performing, motivated, and future-ready team. With a strong focus on operational excellence, you orchestrate the seamless distribution of tasks across the Vehicle Steering team, ensuring the right balance between efficiency, agility, and quality. You lead your team in developing innovative and flexible solutions that respond effectively to dynamic business needs. By shaping strategies, optimizing processes, and refining roles and responsibilities, you continuously elevate operational performance—unlocking new levels of productivity and impact for both the team and the broader organization.

You also contribute to broader management responsibilities, including people-related matters, budgeting, and supporting cross-functional initiatives within the E4 team.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years’ working experience in a vehicle operation-related position; testing experience is beneficial, and leadership experience is a major advantage.
Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strategic thinking and an innovation mindset.
Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; Power BI or AI knowledge for office task automation is a plus.
Fluent English in speaking, writing, listening, and reading is mandatory.
German language knowledge is an advantage.
Knowledge of the vehicle development process is an advantage.
Working experience in an international company is a plus.
