Section Lead, MBOS Base Software Function Owner MBOSFO

Objective

Mercedes-Benz is looking for an experienced leader to lead a group of infotainment base software Function Owners and deliver high-quality system engineering products, including system requirements, system architecture, system testing solutions, and successful end-to-end function deliveries.

Main Tasks

• Monitor work status and progress, make day-to-day adjustments according to priorities, and obtain supervisor assistance as needed.
• Estimate and report expected completion times and maintain work records.
• Distribute and balance workloads while ensuring timely, high-quality completion.
• Assist with recruitment, attendance and leave management, goal agreements, appraisals, feedback, employee surveys, and team-building activities.
• Provide performance coaching, feedback, training, written instructions, and on-the-job training for new team members.
• Lead the team in delivering infotainment system requirements, system architecture designs, and system testing solutions.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of owned functions, including solution evaluation, critical issue analysis, software-hardware joint debugging, and milestone task forces.
• Define, align, and refine system engineering processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in automotive infotainment or ADAS product system engineering and 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of infotainment or ADAS products and automotive software technologies.
• Knowledge of automotive infotainment or ADAS hardware.
• Knowledge of ASPICE is required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, intercultural, independent, and proactive working skills.
• Willingness to travel within China and abroad.
• Native Chinese and fluent English language skills; German is beneficial.
