What will I be doing?

• Provide customers with an amazing experience by helping with sizes, styles, purchases, and returns
• Set up an attractive shop floor with full shelves and tidy fitting rooms, and maintain an organized stockroom
• Deliver a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns
• Receive, unpack, and check off new deliveries
• Move products onto the shop floor and ensure they are correctly priced and meet Primark standards

Physical Job Requirements

This position requires the ability to constantly stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift, on hard-surface floors. Colleagues must frequently bend, stoop, crouch, reach at or above shoulder level, and lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25 pounds. Team lifts may occasionally be required for items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Colleagues must perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including handling merchandise, operating cash registers or point-of-sale systems, and using handheld devices. The position involves movement throughout the sales floor and stockroom, occasional use of stairs or ladders, and occasional work in varying temperatures.

Pay and seasonal period

The starting base hourly rate for this role is $15.00. This role is eligible for a $0.50 increase at both 6 months and 1 year of continued employment at Primark. The seasonal period is for 90 days.
