Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Billing and FI-CA Consultant to support and enhance our utilities business processes. The ideal candidate has a strong functional background in SAP for Utilities, with deep expertise in Billing & Invoicing and Contract Accounting (FI-CA).
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing, rate structures, RTP, schemas, scheduling, and billing execution.
- Configure FI-CA processes, including business partners, contract accounts, payments, dunning, collections, interest calculation, clearing, and reconciliation.
- Ensure integration across IS-U modules and with SAP FI/CO.
- Provide second- and third-level support and resolve defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Prepare documentation, test scenarios, and data migration validation.
- Participate in SAP rollout, upgrade, and migration projects, including go-live and hypercare.
- Advise stakeholders and provide expertise during workshops, requirements gathering, and training.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as an SAP IS-U Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of IS-U Billing, rates, schemas, RTP, and FI-CA.
- Understanding of electricity and gas utility business processes.
- Familiarity with IDE/IDEXPF and ability to debug ABAP by reading logs and traces.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with S/4HANA for Utilities and AMI or smart metering is preferred.
