Atos is seeking a highly experienced SAP MDG Architect to lead the design, implementation and enhancement of enterprise Master Data Governance solutions, with a strong focus on SAP MDG-M (Material Master) and integration with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable SAP MDG solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Material Master governance processes, data quality management, workflow design, system integration and cross-functional collaboration in global environments.
The SAP MDG Architect will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment and ongoing optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
- Facilitate workshops to gather business and technical requirements and validate solutions.
- Provide functional and technical expertise for planning, designing, implementing and testing SAP Material Master features related to MDG-M and applications such as PLM, Teamcenter and Oracle Agile.
- Prepare and review cost estimates for customer requirements connected with RFPs and RFQs.
- Develop solution concepts using standard MM and MDG functionality, including central governance, consolidation, mass processing and data quality management.
- Design customer-specific enhancements, including material maintenance workflows with PLM interfaces, UI customizations, data model extensions, validations and derivations.
- Plan and execute solution implementation in parallel while managing dependencies.
- Plan and monitor development, configuration, integration, testing and data migration across global support teams.
- Create documentation using relevant methods and tools, including Jira or Solution Manager.
- Develop templates for client decision-makers and deliver client and user presentations and workshops in English and German.
- Build expertise in innovative business and technology topics and contribute to Atos internal knowledge management.
- Identify business opportunities within current projects and provide technical input for sales activities.
- Act as a link between business functions and technical teams.
- Provide training and user support as required.
- Work independently and on your own initiative.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP MDG implementations, including architecture responsibilities.
- Proven expertise in SAP MDG-M.
- Experience working in large-scale, international SAP transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management and Data Governance principles.
- Experience in solution architecture, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Professional German language skills are highly preferred.
- Ability to facilitate workshops, presentations and stakeholder discussions in an international environment.
