Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with deep hands-on expertise in S/4HANA New Asset Accounting (FI-AA) to support and drive global S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will combine strong functional knowledge, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills, and be comfortable working in a SAFe / Agile delivery setup across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FICO – Asset Accounting

• Lead and deliver S/4HANA New Asset Accounting implementations and enhancements, including organizational structures, chart of depreciation, asset classes, depreciation areas, and parallel valuation.
• Manage integration with General Ledger (New GL), Controlling, and Logistics.
• Configure and support end-to-end Asset Accounting processes, including asset acquisition, capitalization, transfer, revaluation, retirement, and depreciation runs.
• Drive solution design and functional specifications aligned with business requirements.

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Participate in workshops, design reviews, and steering discussions with global stakeholders.

Agile / SAFe Ways of Working

• Work within a SAFe Agile framework, collaborating with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to PI planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
• Support continuous improvement, automation, and simplification initiatives.

Governance & Quality

• Ensure adherence to solution standards, design principles, and best practices.
• Support audit requirements and financial controls related to Asset Accounting.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute.

Mandatory Skills

• 8–11 years of SAP FICO experience, with a strong focus on FI – Asset Accounting.
• Hands-on working knowledge of S/4HANA New Asset Accounting.
• Experience in at least one global S/4HANA implementation or rollout project.
• Strong understanding of Finance business processes and accounting principles.
• Experience working in a SAFe / Agile delivery model.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have

• Integration knowledge with Controlling (CO), MM, PS, or other logistics modules.
• Exposure to financial data migration, such as CVI and asset data migration.
• Experience working with multi-country or multi-company-code environments and multi-landscape setups.
