Job Overview
Lead the Salesforce platform applications team and Salesforce implementations for Americas systems. Lead the migration of legacy applications to Salesforce, manage build, run, and maintenance activities, align with other technology leads on reusable architecture, and champion AI-enabled software development, testing, and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the build of Originations product areas, including the design and transformation of existing application landscapes (50%).
- Ensure a stable, robust, scalable, cost-efficient, and transparent Salesforce integration platform, including IT operations planning, monitoring, escalation management, and compliance with Mercedes-Benz standards (20%).
- Help establish and manage the IT Integration team for specific business areas (10%).
- Manage timely issue resolution, collaboration, and negotiation of service-level agreements and contracts with internal and external partners (10%).
- Ensure information security, data protection, risk management, and compliance with corporate IT security standards (10%).
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application.
- At least 5 years of overall work experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Recommended majors include Computer Science or Information Science.
- Certified Salesforce Developer and Certified Salesforce Administrator credentials are recommended.
- Multiple Salesforce or MuleSoft certifications, such as architecture or development certifications, are desirable.
- At least 2 years of experience leading Salesforce development, design, architecture, or Scrum teams.
- At least 5 years of Salesforce technical delivery experience, including hands-on configuration and coding.
- Experience with large Salesforce implementation projects is a plus.
- Hands-on Salesforce experience across Sales, Service, and Marketing.
- Experience in multicultural teams, preferably in financial services or automotive environments.
- Financial services domain knowledge is a plus.
Skills
- IT skills, application development, middleware, and testing.
- Deep Salesforce knowledge across Sales, Service, and Marketing, including related integration tools and data.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services system design and implementation.
- Broad knowledge of financial services business processes related to operations.
- Experience with analytics, DevOps, team management, IT management, and Agile practices in intercultural organizations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
