About our Finance Undergraduate programme

We’re looking for six enthusiastic Undergraduate Placement students ready to put their financial awareness, commercial insight, and interpersonal skills into action. Students will work on topics and projects that make a difference and add value across several finance departments.

Departments

• Group Controlling: Manage month-end processes, recognise costs through accruals and prepayments, create budgets, track spending and maximise cost efficiencies.
• Cars Controlling: Support reporting, forecasting and accounting across New Cars, Used Cars, After-sales and Product pricing, including creating KPI dashboards.
• Vans Controlling: Support profitability analysis, financial performance reviews, month-end closing, forecasting, KPI reporting, dealer pricing and continuous improvement projects.
• Accounting: Complete month-end closing activities for Mercedes-Benz companies and support intercompany invoice processing.
• Residual Value: Analyse and forecast residual values for the Mercedes-Benz Car and Van Portfolio, research industry trends and support profitability decisions.
• Group Tax: Support Customs Compliance, VAT, Employment Taxes and Corporation Tax activities.

• Currently studying a degree with an expected 2:1 grade or above; accounting, finance and related subjects are advantageous

Recruitment process

Successful applicants will be invited to an online video interview, followed by online situational judgement assessments and an assessment centre with the Finance Team at the Milton Keynes head office.
