Capgemini is seeking an experienced, results-driven Business Development Executive to source, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the Life Sciences industry. The role focuses on strategic client relationships, revenue growth, and positioning enterprise solutions aligned with client priorities.

Your role

  • Develop new business in the Life Sciences industry and drive the sales process.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue complex strategic sales opportunities from lead generation through deal closure.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, delivery leaders, marketing, partner teams, and subject matter experts to shape compelling offerings.
  • Manage client expectations, commercial terms, deal governance, contract execution, pipeline forecasting, and reporting.
  • Create opportunities across service lines and achieve revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide client insights to influence portfolio evolution and go-to-market strategies.

Skills and experience

  • Extensive experience serving clients within the Life Sciences industry.
  • 12+ years of professional experience with dedicated business development experience in enterprise sales of IT and business-related services.
  • Experience selling end-to-end solutions and professional services.
  • Proven ability to generate organic revenue growth through prospecting.
  • Experience building relationships with senior executives and achieving annual sales quotas.
  • Ability to travel and work in an office as required.
  • Familiarity with partner-led sales and joint go-to-market motions.

Compensation and benefits

The base compensation range is $88,544–$281,842. The role is permanent and full-time, with eligibility for additional compensation such as incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
