Risk Manager H/F

Indosuez Gestion, a portfolio management company of CA Indosuez in France, is recruiting a Senior Risk Manager to support its rapidly developing activity and expanding range of investment vehicles.

Within a small team, the role requires versatility and autonomy across a broad range of activities involving conventional funds and mandates, private markets funds and mandates, and structured product mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in developing and implementing second-level controls covering the company’s enterprise and investment risks.
• Control investment constraints and instrument valuations, and oversee investment risk policies for funds and mandates.
• Contribute to updating the risk map, developing and monitoring risk indicators, and preparing for the Indosuez Gestion Risk and Compliance Committee.
• Lead the remediation of identified anomalies and issues.
• Review new product projects.
• Advise operational teams and propose improvements.
• Prepare control reports.
• Work with risk managers across other management sites.
• Participate in local and cross-functional projects, including process, organizational and IT improvements.
• Support client meetings with sales teams or portfolio managers when required.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory risk requirements and their effective implementation.

Profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably from a business or engineering school, with a specialization in financial markets.
• 6–10 years of experience.
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, particularly derivatives or structured products.
• Strong numerical, analytical and synthesis skills, with critical thinking and rigor.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Awareness of regulatory and legal issues.
• Autonomy, initiative, organizational skills and a proactive approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analysis or automation tools such as Power BI and Python, or equivalents.
• Strong team spirit.
