About the role

Primark is looking for an RFID Implementation Manager to support the implementation and optimisation of RFID across the business. The role uses data analytics, business-case development and stakeholder engagement to improve availability, performance and operational efficiency.

What you’ll do

  • Leverage data analytics to identify high-volume continuity merchandise opportunities and recommend targeted actions with Supply Chain and Logistics leadership.
  • Analyse and interpret RFID count saturation test results across departments and depots, providing actionable insights for operational decision-making.
  • Identify and quantify business benefits from RFID implementation, including sales growth, shrink reduction, and process and cost-efficiency improvements.
  • Develop business-case proposals and benefit models for Finance review, validation and investment approval.
  • Drive the RFID roadmap using best practices from vendor partners and leading retailers, while exploring predictive analytics opportunities.
  • Monitor RFID market trends and competitor developments, and communicate programme progress, risks, opportunities and recommendations to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of retail and supply-chain experience within the fashion retail sector, including hands-on involvement in RFID deployment projects and operational RFID environments.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and coordinating diverse teams to deliver technology and process-improvement initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Ability to communicate RFID strategy, roadmap and business value effectively, building strong stakeholder relationships through influence and credibility.
  • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate opportunities, balance cost versus value, and improve operational performance and customer experience.
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations and vendor relationships, identifying risks early and driving issue resolution.
  • Awareness of emerging retail-technology trends and innovations, translating market insights into practical recommendations.
