Retail Assistant Store Manager

Location: Nike Factory Store DT Philly, Philadelphia, PA

Hours: Full-time, 34–40 hours per week, including nights and weekends.

As an Assistant Store Manager, also known as an Assistant Head Coach, you will lead, coach, and inspire a retail team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting an inclusive and high-performing workplace.

You will represent Nike’s culture of sport and service, drive store growth strategies, build community partnerships, and help your team create positive moments for customers, communities, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience
• Three years of leadership experience
• Ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail business systems
• Ability to use conflict resolution, employee coaching, and counseling tools
• Ability to work mornings, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and ensure store functions run seamlessly
• Attract, assess, and onboard new teammates
• Equip employees with the tools needed for their daily responsibilities
• Lead business results and critical metrics, including budgeting, planning, customer service, sales, people leadership, and management
• Manage the product lifecycle from the stockroom through visual merchandising and the sales floor
