At Capgemini Engineering, the world leader in engineering services, we bring together a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects to help innovative companies unleash their potential. Join us for a career full of opportunities where you can make a difference.

Your Role

  • Analyse vehicle telemetry, driving data, and unstructured data sources, including verbatim text, to build interpretable features and dimensions defining driving patterns and behaviours.
  • Link real-world telemetry data with survey responses, customer personas, and behavioural indicators to generate a multi-dimensional understanding of driver profiles.
  • Review academic and technical literature, assess its applicability, and rapidly test approaches through proof-of-concepts on real, messy data.
  • Compare and validate analytical methods, including clustering, dimensionality reduction, factor analysis, and supervised and unsupervised modelling, with attention to robustness, reliability, and limitations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure findings are technically grounded and communicate results with well-reasoned recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your Profile

  • Strong proficiency in Python for analysis, modelling, and prototyping, with solid foundations in statistics, machine learning, and AI.
  • Knowledge of feature engineering, dimensionality reduction, and model validation.
  • Ability to critically assess technical material, adapt methods to real-world constraints, and design experiments on complex, ambiguous datasets.
  • Understanding of what data physically and behaviourally represents, with the ability to assess whether results are meaningful in context.
  • Ability to work independently, challenge weak or ambiguous results, and communicate assumptions, limitations, and conclusions clearly.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience.

What You Will Love About Working Here

  • Empowering environment with autonomy and goal-setting.
  • FlexAbroad, allowing employees in more than 20 countries to work abroad for up to 45 days in a 12-month period.
