About the role
As a Senior Test Manager, you will lead and coordinate testing activities across multidisciplinary teams, develop and execute test strategies, manage testing throughout the project lifecycle, and ensure quality objectives are achieved within complex IT environments.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test strategies for complex IT projects and programs.
- Define test approaches, objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Identify testing risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities.
- Manage test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Monitor testing progress and ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines.
- Advise stakeholders, management, architects, product owners, and operational teams.
- Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders.
- Apply testing methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Improve testing processes, quality management practices, frameworks, and reporting.
- Report on testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and issues.
- Identify defects and risks early and escalate critical issues when necessary.
What you bring
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in software testing and quality management.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Test Manager within complex IT projects and programs.
- Experience with Agile environments and Scrum teams.
- Experience with Jira and Xray for test management, execution, and reporting.
- Experience developing and implementing testing strategies for complex IT environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Scrum, TMap, or ISTQB certification.
- Experience in Unified Communications, Identity and Access Management, Public Key Infrastructure, Privileged Access Management, Directory Services, or ServiceNow.
