Tasks

  • Continuously develop and update QM OTA release methodology, including validation strategy and release KPIs, processes, and tools to meet major use cases in the China market.
  • Evaluate and approve the quality and performance of OTA rollout in China in accordance with strategic projects, focusing on market-specific usage environments, conditions, and user habits.
  • Conduct QM risk assessments for China OTA software capability validation and pre-campaign activities during market rollout.
  • Represent the QM perspective in EE maturity judgment rounds across different hierarchies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with PLQT domains, PLQ MBOS, PLQ Vehicle, carline SPL, and relevant steering committees to establish transparency of project status and decisions.
  • Participate in technical discussions of new features and critical issue resolution procedures.
  • Strengthen information flow regarding new feature rollout plans and critical issue resolution status across management hierarchies.
  • Contribute to common team tasks, including vehicle technical preparation, vehicle management, and test plan preparation.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in automotive engineering, computer science, vehicle engineering, automotive electronics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience at an OEM or supplier in infotainment, telematics, OTA, or other E/E development or validation areas.
  • Passion for cars and infotainment, telematics, and OTA products.
  • Strong quality awareness and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Vigilance in issue detection and prudence in root cause analysis.
  • Broad knowledge of vehicle products and the automotive industry.
  • Solid knowledge of vehicle E/E architecture, infotainment and telematics systems, and automotive OTA updates.
  • Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent driving skills; a Chinese driving license is mandatory.
  • Team spirit and excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within China and abroad for test drives.
  • Fluent English; German is a plus.
