Tasks

  • Establish and maintain the PLQ MB.OS role for China and cooperate with PLQ Tech. in China through alignment and exchange with HQ counterparts.
  • Exchange key process content with HQ PLQ MB.OS and monitor decision-making progress on issues affecting PbP carlines.
  • Track E/E maturity evaluation and issue-judgment progress, and acquire E/E maturity reports and signed EEQD lists from CBU carlines.
  • Support key quality milestones for PbP carlines, including timeline planning, release recommendations, release reports, and quality milestone inputs.
  • Represent E/E topics in AK-Maturity and other relevant quality meetings.
  • Adapt and steer the R4L7 and EEQD release processes in China, including establishing decision-making committees.
  • Prepare and lead E3 MustFix and E/E Maturity Evaluation Board activities with relevant teams.
  • Lead pre-alignment meetings and present results at management meetings.
  • Maintain documentation and meeting minutes for L7 CPR approval and EEQD final confirmation.
  • Coordinate the overall RGA E/E release plan, including SA code demand collection, vehicle ordering, car receiving, target software status, planning, and execution.
  • Collaborate with China Requirement Working Groups to consolidate market-specific requirements and integrate them into testing plans and release procedures.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in automotive engineering, computer science, vehicle engineering, automotive electronics, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in an OEM or supplier environment involving infotainment, telematics, OTA, or other E/E development or validation.
  • At least 5 years of project management and steering experience in an OEM.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle products, automotive industry, vehicle E/E architecture, infotainment, telematics, and OTA updates.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent driving skills; a Chinese driving license is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel in China and abroad for test drives.
  • Fluent English required; German is a plus.
