Quality Action Campaign Specialist

Job Overview

This position is responsible for creating and coordinating quality-related campaigns and holds in the plant, reporting, and managing information flow between Quality, Development, Production, Purchasing, Marketing, Service & Parts, Sales Organizations, Suppliers, and Mercedes-Benz USA.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the plant and the Marshalling Yard (MBUSA).
• Conduct weekly communications between the MBV plant, sister plants, and MBUSA.
• Coordinate campaign management activities with MBV to ensure timely availability of vans to customers.
• Independently coordinate and organize third-party resources to ensure all actions are complete before units are released to MBUSA.
• Lead kickoff meetings for all activities, including rework.
• Monitor Production Instructions and place vehicles on hold as needed.
• Monitor all actions and holds in the plant.
• Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
• Receive action requests, manage reports through MB systems, and generate campaigns and holds in systems.
• Run daily reports to ensure vehicles are transparently tracked throughout the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the automotive field.
• Experience coordinating time-critical processes.
• Excellent communication, writing, and reporting skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access Database.
• Experience with Mercedes-Benz systems is a plus.
