Python Engineer

Role summary

We are looking for a Python Engineer to join a global project focused on developing and enhancing scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-based solutions. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of reliable software solutions while working with international teams in a collaborative environment.

Your profile

• Commercial experience with Python development.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Experience with Flask, FastAPI, Django, or Gunicorn.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with authentication and security concepts, including google-auth, cryptography, oauthlib, requests-oauthlib.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry API, SDK, and instrumentation.
• Experience with data processing and file handling using xlrd, xlwt, and simplejson.
• Familiarity with requests, PyYAML, and jsonschema.
• Understanding of software development best practices and clean code principles.
• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
• English level: Upper-intermediate.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain backend applications and microservices using Python.
• Design, build, and support RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Work with SQL databases, ensuring data quality and efficient query performance.
• Integrate internal and external systems through APIs and cloud-based services.
• Support authentication and security implementations.
• Participate in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and bug fixing.
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, and observability initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes.
