Python Backend Developer

Your role

As a Python Backend Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend applications and services that power business-critical platforms and digital solutions. Working alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, you will help build reliable, high-performance systems with a focus on clean code, automation, and continuous improvement.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Developing and maintaining backend applications using Python
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Building scalable and secure backend solutions that support business requirements
• Integrating applications with databases, third-party services, and internal systems
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices
• Collaborating with frontend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing existing applications and services
• Contributing to CI/CD processes, automation initiatives, and cloud-based deployments
• Participating in code reviews and supporting continuous improvement of development practices

Your profile

• Experience with Python development
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience working with Git and version control workflows
• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
