Drive and coordinate all R&D-related activities for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars on the MB.EA-M project and successor carlines.
Lead all required development activities as Project Lead Development according to MDS.
Ensure China requirements are considered for the platform from the early project phase for all China-relevant derivatives.
Shift the focus later to the PbP vehicle ramp-up at BBAC.
Safeguard the achievement of relevant project milestones regarding maturity, costs and timing.
Communicate and coordinate tasks between responsible engineers, model and commodity groups, commodity group leaders, and project management in China and Germany.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanics, automotive engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
Five years of experience in overall vehicle development.
Experience as a project manager, such as in vehicle launches and part development.
Fluent English language skills; Chinese skills are beneficial.
High level of responsibility, proactivity and ability to deal with stress.
Strong leadership ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
Intercultural competence and communication skills with various levels and departments.
