At Mercedes-Benz Vans, we are shaping the next generation of sustainable and integrated production. For our state-of-the-art plant in Jawor, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Process Engineer to join our Body Shop team and play a key role in driving excellence in joining technologies.

Your Mission

In this role, you will ensure stable, high-performance production processes while continuously advancing quality, efficiency, and innovation within the Body-in-White environment.

Ensure reliable and efficient production processes, meeting defined cycle times and quality targets
Lead structured problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions
Support installation, ramp-up, and commissioning of advanced production systems
Develop and continuously refine process standards, specifications, and best practices
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability and product quality
Analyze production and quality data to derive insights and support performance management

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Production Engineering, or Automation/Robotics
Proven experience of at least 2–3 years in automotive manufacturing, ideally within Body Shop or BIW processes
Solid understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and joining technologies, such as spot welding
Experience in data-driven process control, including SPC, and analytical problem-solving
Familiarity with modern production principles, including Lean Manufacturing
Strong analytical mindset, solution-oriented thinking, and structured working approach
