Mercedes-Benz Vans is expanding its battery-electric LCV production capacity and implementing an entirely new plant next to its existing Mercedes-Benz production facility in Jawor. We are looking for a Process Engineer - Paint Shop to help shape the future of mobility.

Scope of duties

Work on planning and establishing the new production facility for the hybrid/VAN.EA vehicle project, including paint shop processes and systems in Jawor.
Take ownership of a production line or production process work package and manage sub-projects with external and internal stakeholders.
Implement innovative production processes for new model series.
Drive process harmonization and standardization between VAN sites.
Report regularly on progress and targets to the project or team manager.
Promote effective communication between departments and locations.
Execute and guide new model planning and influence product development.
Prepare and steer projects while meeting cost, deadline and quality objectives.
Collaborate with vehicle development, series preparation and production units.
Prepare and perform acceptance inspections and testing of production systems in line with legal and corporate regulations.

Qualifications

University degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering, automation systems or similar.
Several years of professional experience in production planning and paint shop systems planning or process technology.
Practical project management experience.
Analytical, strategic and results-oriented approach.
Strong teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset and openness to change.
Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
Fluent Polish and English; German is an advantage where applicable.
