Mercedes-Benz Vans is expanding its battery-electric light commercial vehicle production capacity and implementing a new plant next to its existing facility in Jawor. Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland is looking for a Process Engineer – Body Shop to help shape the future of mobility.

Tasks

Work on planning and establishing the new production system for the VAN.EA vehicle project.
Plan bodyshop processes and production lines for the Jawor facility as part of the project team.
Manage work packages and sub-projects with external and internal stakeholders.
Design, implement and ramp up innovative production processes for the new vehicle series.
Plan production technologies, complex technical equipment and work processes.
Submit regular progress reports to the project or team manager.
Support construction, equipment installation and ramp-up activities, analyze bottlenecks, create countermeasures and implement optimizations.
Oversee contracted suppliers, identify deviations and help ensure the project timeline.
Conduct interdisciplinary workshops with various departments.
Manage sub-projects while meeting cost, time and quality objectives.
Work with vehicle development, series preparation and production units.
Prepare and perform acceptance inspections and buyoffs of equipment and procedures in accordance with legal and corporate regulations.

Qualifications

University degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering or similar.
Several years of professional experience in production planning, body shop systems planning or process technology.
Proven project management experience.
Analytical and strategic thinking with a results-oriented approach.
Teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration and excellent problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset and openness to change.
Good IT skills, especially in CAD software and Microsoft Office.
Fluent Polish and English; German where applicable.
