Job Overview
Support the adherence of existing processes, maintain formal failure analysis reports for process nonconformities, support audits, and recommend improvements. Support the Quality Management System internal and external audits.
Responsibilities
- Analyze documented production processes and procedures.
- Support process experts in applying methodologies and tools to identify areas for action.
- Check and monitor the timely implementation of remedial measures.
- Use basic problem-solving techniques to define problems and findings.
- Conduct fact finding and investigations to understand issues.
- Verify and compile objective, measurable data.
- Support examination of measures through internal audits.
- Support audit planning and supervision for the certification entity and Mercedes-Benz Vans Quality Management units.
- Prepare documents and support employee training administration, including DIN ISO and audit training.
- Document findings and prepare standardized audit reports.
- Support fulfillment of certification entity requirements.
- Participate in regular scheduled meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree required.
- One year of relevant experience required; two years preferred.
- Experience as an EOQ auditor or environmental auditor is a plus.
- Experience with statistical methods, quality management methods, or project management is a plus.
- Knowledge of site process chains, rationalization and project methods, and database systems preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English; German and Spanish preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of quality methods is a plus.
- Ability to work in teams.
