Praktikant*in EE-Integration MMA

Tasks

Mercedes-Benz AG coordinates and conducts vehicle tests and aligns drivetrain, chassis, electrical/electronic, and exterior/interior topics from a complete-vehicle perspective through series approval. The E/E team supports development of the new MMA vehicle platform, particularly in telematics, connectivity, Mercedes me, wiring systems, and measurement technology.

• Commissioning and supporting conversion work on prototypes and test vehicles
• Maintaining planning lists and tables covering technical vehicle content using MS Office
• Planning and configuring vehicle measurement technology, including workshop planning for installation and removal and reading and storing measurement data
• Performing basic vehicle diagnostics, including reading fault memories and processing the data
• Supporting vehicle software updates by updating control units using on-board diagnostics, including coding

Qualifications

• Studies in engineering, preferably electrical engineering or a comparable degree program
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Confident use of MS Office
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Analytical and strategic approach
• Agile way of working in response to daily new challenges
• Practical experience in vehicle technology, mechatronics, or a similar field is desirable
• Class B driving licence
