Purpose and overall relevance for the organization

Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to each customer.
• Complete regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, and other payment methods.
• Assist with product ticketing and checking paperwork against items received.
• Support product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Assist with merchandise displays according to store management guidance.
• Attain proficiency with the point-of-sale system.
• Use selling techniques such as add-on sales and technical product information to support sales goals.
• Greet customers and help them find the right products.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards, including cleaning the store.
• Safeguard company assets and follow loss-prevention and security procedures.
• Complete in-store and digital training to develop product knowledge and role best practices.
• Use Power BI tools to understand store performance, best sellers, and blackhole products.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Clear and upbeat communication skills.
• Flexibility to work during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Adaptability and ability to manage varied tasks and changing circumstances.

Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• 0–1 years of retail experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Enthusiasm and confidence styling customers.
