Purpose and overall relevance for the organization

Assist management in day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing and maintaining all store policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to each customer.
• Complete regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, and other payment methods.
• Assist with product ticketing and checking paperwork against received items.
• Assist with product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Assist in developing merchandise displays and follow store management suggestions or schedules.
• Develop proficiency with the point-of-sale system and maintain policy and procedure integrity.
• Use selling techniques such as add-on sales and describing technical information to enhance salesmanship and achieve sales goals.
• Greet customers and assist them in finding the right product; occasionally serve as a front-door greeter during busy periods.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards, including cleaning the store.
• Safeguard company assets and support loss prevention by monitoring the sales floor, reporting suspicious activity, and following security procedures.
• Participate in in-store and digital training to develop product knowledge and role best practices.
• Become familiar with Power BI tools to better understand store performance, best sellers, and black-hole product.

• Flexibility to work during the week, evenings, and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Adaptability and ability to handle varied tasks and changing circumstances.
