Purpose and overall relevance for the organization: Assist management with day-to-day store maintenance while providing excellent service and observing all store policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to each customer.
• Complete regular sales transactions involving cash, credit, checks, and other payment methods.
• Assist with product ticketing and checking paperwork against received items.
• Support product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Assist with merchandise displays and follow schedules or suggestions from the store management team.
• Develop proficiency with the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain integrity through attention to policy and procedure.
• Use selling techniques, including add-on sales and describing technical product information, to support sales goals.
• Greet customers and help them find the right products.
• Serve as a front-door greeter during busy periods when required.
• Maintain general housekeeping standards, including cleaning the store.
• Safeguard company assets and support loss prevention by monitoring the sales floor, reporting suspicious activity, and following security procedures.
• Participate in in-store and digital training to build product knowledge and role best practice.
• Familiarize yourself with Power BI tools to better understand store performance, best sellers, and blackhole products.

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Ability to use initiative.
• Clear and upbeat communication skills.
• Flexibility to work during the week, evenings, and weekends.
• Previous fashion retail experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Adaptability and ability to handle varied tasks and changing circumstances.

Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• 0–1 years of retail experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Enthusiasm and a love for fashion.
• Confidence in styling customers and creating complete looks.
