PD Partition Lead (Physical Design, Semiconductors)

Your role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Physical Design expert with partitioning experience who is ready to become a Lead or Tech Lead on exciting semiconductor projects.

Your tasks

• Manage all aspects of Physical Design at full-chip or block level in advanced technology nodes of 10nm and below.
• Handle floorplanning, partitioning and budgeting, power mesh distribution, clock tree planning and analysis, scan re-ordering, placement, CTS, place and route.
• Perform timing analysis through sign-off, including SI/noise closure and functional and timing ECO tasks.
• Lead validation and qualification activities, including Formal Verification, EM/IR, DRC, LVS, Antenna and ERC analysis and fixes.
• Contribute to Low Power solution development and implementation.
• Develop and enhance timing-related Perl, TCL and Python scripts for clock skew analysis, critical path analysis, IO interfaces, and constraints partitioning and budgeting.
• Complete multiple high-complexity design cycles with little supervision.
• Possibly lead other Physical Design Engineers.

Your profile

• Good knowledge of synthesis flow, DFT scan insertion, coverage and optimization.
• Excellent floorplan, power plan, CTS, place, route and timing closure skills.
• Proficiency with Perl, TCL, Python scripting and Makefile.
• Expertise in timing STA/PTSI, signal integrity closure, and ECO generation and implementation.
• Excellent EM/IR, DRC, LVS and ERC analysis and fixing skills.
• Experience with sign-off tape-out closure work.
• Partitioning experience is a plus.
• Experience leading or tech-leading small teams is a plus.
