About the role
As Night Department Manager at Primark’s Nottingham store, you will ensure the store is fully stocked and prepared for the following day’s operations. You will supervise deliveries and communicate effectively with the daytime management team.
What you’ll do
- Oversee replenishment of the store ready for the next day’s opening.
- Manage deliveries and collaborate with the day management team on product moves and price changes.
- Keep the store stocked and tidy, and report stock issues when they arise.
- Allocate tasks to the team of Night Retail Assistants on each shift.
- Develop team skills and keep colleagues motivated and engaged.
- Take advantage of digital learning, apprenticeships and career pathways to drive your own development.
What you’ll bring
- Experience as a manager with proven leadership experience.
- A commercial mindset, creative flair and experience in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, highly organised approach and a passion for getting things right first time.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to influence your team to communicate, engage and inspire.
Contract and benefits
Salary: £37,817, with 31 days annual leave and a pension. This is a full-time fixed-term contract until 1 May 2027, working five nights followed by three days off. Night Manager roles also receive an additional allowance of £21.50 per shift.
