Night Department Manager

Job description

As a Night Manager, you will take charge of ensuring the store is fully stocked and prepared for the following day's operations through supervising deliveries and communicating effectively with the daytime management team.

What you'll do

• Oversee the replenishment of your store ready for the next day's opening.
• Manage deliveries and collaborate with the day management team on product moves or price changes.
• Keep the store stocked and tidy, and report any stock issues.
• Allocate tasks to the team of Night Retail Assistants on each shift, develop their skills, and keep them motivated and engaged.
• Drive your own development through digital learning, apprenticeships, and career pathways.

• Proactive, highly organised, with a passion for getting it right first time.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to influence your team to communicate, engage, and inspire.
