Sr MES Engineer

At Capgemini Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled MES Developer to design, develop, and maintain MES applications supporting manufacturing operations and regulatory compliance for a top client in the MedTech industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain MES applications using the Rockwell FTPC platform.
  • Design and implement custom modules and workflows using Java.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, and other enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams.
  • Ensure system compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and GxP standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and validation protocols.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in MES development, preferably with Rockwell FTPC.
  • Proficiency in Java programming and SQL database development.
  • Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments such as MedTech or Pharma.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Familiarity with ISA-95 architecture and manufacturing data standards.
  • Experience with system validation and electronic records/electronic signatures.
  • Knowledge of OPC, MQTT, or other industrial communication protocols.
  • Certifications in Rockwell Automation or Java technologies.
