Objective of Job

Design mule cars of electrical and electronic architecture, including ADAS and infotainment, for development. Integrate and configure the MB.OS ADAS and infotainment systems into testing vehicles, ensure testing readiness, further develop system integration tools and methods, and perform system problem analysis and technical decision-making.

Responsibilities

Define concepts and build testing vehicles, including mule cars with MB.OS systems.
Integrate in-house or third-party ADAS and intelligent cockpit systems into Mercedes-Benz vehicles, considering power supply, cooling, packaging, operational safety, and EE communication.
Work with external technology companies and internal R&D workshops.
Plan and conduct system integration and configuration across different vehicle models.
Ensure testing cars reach testing-ready status and support external engineers with timelines and quality.
Build overall vehicle EE system integration expertise, train service providers, and support proof-of-concept projects.
Design, develop, and optimize measurement and system integration tools for MB.OS development.
Participate in vehicle-level EE problem analysis, including communication anomalies, power supply issues, system conflicts, and performance bottlenecks.
Provide architecture-level judgments and recommendations for technical decisions involving autonomous driving and intelligent cockpits.
Support vehicle integration, EE upgrades, system bring-up, and system-level validation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in vehicle EEA, ADAS, telematics, or CarIT.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic architectures, ECUs, domain controllers, sensors, and central computing architectures.
Experience with ADAS and telematics system architecture and overall vehicle EE system integration.
Familiarity with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet, and related in-vehicle communication protocols.
Chinese native speaker with fluent English; German is beneficial.
Driving experience is required; an OEM internal driver's license is welcome.
Excellent communication, teamwork, hands-on problem-solving, independent working style, and willingness to travel in China and abroad.
