Join the Connected Cars Platform team to develop cloud-native microservices that power connected car functions for more than 14 million Mercedes-Benz customers.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for technical professionals with 3–6 years of experience developing cloud-native microservices on Azure or AWS using Java with Spring Boot, Kotlin, or GoLang.

• Write high-quality, well-tested code using clean code principles.
• Follow DevSecOps practices and advocate for technical excellence.
• Work with cloud PaaS offerings and data-management solutions including PostgreSQL, Redis, Event Hub, and Kafka.
• Use Kubernetes and containerized environments.

Skillset

• Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
• Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and inter-service communication
• Kubernetes, Helm charts, AKS, Docker, and container orchestration
• Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and CI/CD
• Datadog, Azure Log Analytics, monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Azure services and infrastructure management; Terraform is a plus
• Security best practices for microservices and Kubernetes
• Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and SDLC methodologies
• TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, Cucumber, and custom test frameworks
• Git, GitHub, GitLab, and PostgreSQL

• Own the entire software lifecycle from ideation through development, deployment, and operations.
• Design and build scalable solutions for real-world problems.
• Use continuous delivery practices to provide incremental value to customers.
• Collaborate in cross-cultural teams to deliver innovative customer experiences.
• Explore, adopt, and champion effective technologies and practices.
• Develop with scale and speed in a dynamic environment.
